Hi there!

You thought it would be a good idea to learn some Dutch? And so it is, actually! For everyday life or for work and studies. Whether it is to speak with your neighbour or use Dutch in the shops, or to read the letters from the ‘gemeente’ and app with the other parents in the school app, or to join work conversations and address colleagues in the professional way that suits your status.

Holland is very attached to its language and people will appreciate your effort. (You will notice their appreciation when people start pointing out all the mistakes you make: Dutch love).

AddNL is a place to learn Dutch. It is not any language school though. It is a school where you can:

• find self study tips (for you can do it by yourself);
• get schedules and alerts (for is it not a burden to study every day?);
• take certified tests to find out about your level and measure your progress;
• organize group lessons with a certified teacher at your work place;
• join conversation lessons one-on-one or in small groups.

Mix and match to your needs! And do not forget: you can do this. This is not your first learning challenge, it will not be your last. It is a road with accellerations and bumps, with celebrations and hiccups. We are here to help.
