I teach Dutch to foreigners and Dutch people who want to improve their Dutch for several purposes: a few phrases for social events, everyday life, studies or work. I am fascinated with Second Language Acquisition, both brainwise and pragmatics.

<\/p>\n

I was an expat myself for a (wonderful) while. I loved being a stranger and meeting new cultures. That experience is a big help with my cultural and language trainings. For KIT Intercultural Professionals I help families with their move to Malaysia.

<\/p>\n

I teach Dutch to people who start from scratch and also Dutch professionals in communications, perfectionists people who need to be ab-so-lu-te-ly right, and Dutch youngsters at high school (who really, really prefer to be elsewhere). I love language and the learning aspect.

<\/p>\n

For your studies: talk Dutch. Don’t be so specific! Talk to me like I am a 3 years old, and then a 6 years old and so on: let me grow with your progress.

<\/p>\n

It is easy to express yourself when you master a language, but for the first steps you really have to crack that mind and be supercreative with the few words you know.
